Chinese early 20th C. Snuff Bottle – ruo shen zhen cang
Fine chinese blue & white Snuff Bottle, late Qing Dynasty
Well-formed and finely painted porcelain snuff bottle with underglaze blue and red decoration.
The stopper is made of agate, and the spoon is made of bone, both later.
The bottom bears the four-character mark „ruo shen zhen cang“ (precious collection of the seemingly old). This mark was used primarily during the Kangxi period (1662-1722) and the early/first half 20th century. I estimate the snuff bottle to be from the late Qing Dynasty.
Perfect condition: only the typical traces of production and age – see photos.
Height: ca. 10 cm (with stopper)
