Large chinese Famille Rose Charger, Qianlong Period (1736-1795)
Colourful paintet porcelain charger in the famille rose palet. Made in China for the Peranakan (Baba-Nyonya) communities of Malaysia and Singapore in the 18th Century and it’s with thick enamel in the style of Straits Nyonya wares. Late Qianlong Period, ca. 1780.
Very good condition. One hairline and a few small chips – see photos 4 and 5.
