Carved antique Chinese Song Dynasty celadon ceramic bowl, 12th Century
Comparable bowls exist from the Jepara shipwreck, discovered in the Java Sea in 1998. Chinese Northern Song pottery, circa 1100.
Excellent condition, with three very small glaze chips on the rim, otherwise typical signs of production and age – see photos.
