Superb Chinese Porcelain Plate, Kangxi Period (1662-1722) – Flowerbasket & Symbols
A very fine Chinese porcelain Kangxi plate, around 1720, beautifully and very rich painted with a cobalt blue underglaze – Buddhist symbols and a basket full of flowers.
Excellent condition: one tiny frit at the top rim – further only the typical traces of production and age.

Finely hand carved figure group of a scholar and student, each of them is holding a book. The carving is made from boxwood root and standing on a hard wood stand.
Condition: typical traces of age with some cracks in the wood.

Extraordinary antique Porcelain Bowl – Qianlong Mark & Periode (1736-1795)
The bowl bears foure medalions with flower in the center and leafe scrolls on lemon yellow enameled ground. The rim is in a fine orange-brown coloure painted. Underglaze blue Qianlong Mark (minyao) at the base.
Condition: one chip and a hairline, traces of use inside – further only the typical traces of production and age.

Extremely Rare Chinese Jianyao Bowl – Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279)
The deep, heavily potted sides flaring upwards to the gently everted rim, covered inside and out with a lustrous black glaze suffused with a pattern of variegated iridescent “Silver-Metallic Spots”, stopping in an irregular line and exposing the rough stoneware body.

Excellent condition – only the typical traces of production (a small flaw at the rim, it is glazed, however) and use.

Extremely fine chinese porcelain dish or bowl, nice decorated with walking scholars in a village, mountains and lake landscape. In the background a fisher man. All painted in a high quality cobalt blue oxide underglaze – a rare type of Chine de commande.
Excellent condition: backside three short lines in the glaze and one minute frit at rim, hard to see – further only the typical traces of the production and use.

Extremely rare Cizhou Ware from great shape. The Stem Cup is covered with a creamy white slip and freely painted with leafes in a deep chocolate-brown glaze. Inside marked with a stylised character, likely “tun” that may be translated as “gulp” – Yuan or early Ming Dynasty.

Large antique sancai glazed Vase, Qing Dynasty, 19th Century
Unusal chinese vase with “Four Gentlemen” decoration in sancai glaze. The “Four Gentlemen” or “Four Noble Ones” is a collective term referring to four plants: the plum blossom, the orchid, the bamboo, and the chrysanthemum. They represent the four different seasons – the plum blossom for winter, the orchid for spring, the bamboo for summer, and the chrysanthemum for autumn.
Excellent condition: small firing error with hairline at the mouth – further only the typical traces of production (baking traces at stand ring) and use.
