Ming Dynasty Porcelain Bowl, probably Hongzhi Period (1488-1505), marked FU
Simple and in a free style painted people in a landscape, typical for the early Ming time – in blue underglaze. Place of origin is Jingdezhen. Bowls with similar scenery but different shape are also later found in the Tek Sing shipwreck (dating to approximately 1822).
Excellent condition, only the typical traces of the age and the production (error in the glaze).
