
Chinese Early 18th C. Bowl – Chrysanthemum

Antique chinese Porcelain Star-Burst Bowl, first half 18th Century
Rare bowl glazed in blue with painted decoration of stylised chrysanthemums and foliage. Marked on the bottom, first half 18th Century and probably Yongzheng Period (1723-1735).
Similar bowls were found in the “Kangxi Bintan Shipwreck” / “Blue Chrysanthemum Wreck”, sunk around 1710.
Excellent condition: chip at the base rim, see photo 2 and 3 (possibly from production) – further only the typical trace of production and use.
