Chinese Jianyao Song Bowl – Metallic-Splashed

Extremely Rare Chinese Jianyao Bowl (temmuko) – Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279)
The deep, heavily potted sides flaring upwards to the gently everted rim, covered inside and out with a lustrous black glaze suffused with a pattern of variegated iridescent “Silver-Metallic Spots”, stopping in an irregular line and exposing the rough stoneware body.

Excellent condition – only the typical traces of production (a small flaw at the rim, it is glazed, however) and use.
